VocoVision partners with school districts seeking qualified school psychologists for remote service delivery. We're building our talent pool of psychological services providers who can conduct assessments, provide counseling, and support student mental health through secure telepsychology platforms.
Position Overview
Join our network of school psychology professionals providing virtual services to K-12 students. This remote position requires 35-37.5 hours per week, with a typical caseload of 45-50 students needing psychological services. You'll conduct psychoeducational evaluations to determine special education eligibility, provide therapeutic counseling for students facing social-emotional challenges, and serve as a mental health consultant to school teams. The telepsychology format expands access to psychological services, particularly for students in underserved areas or those who benefit from the comfort of receiving services in their home environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your primary function involves administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological and educational assessments to evaluate cognitive abilities, academic achievement, emotional functioning, and behavioral concerns. You'll synthesize assessment data into comprehensive evaluation reports that inform educational programming decisions. Direct student services include individual and group counseling addressing anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, social skills development, and crisis intervention when needed. You'll participate as an integral member of multidisciplinary teams, contributing psychological perspectives to IEP development and intervention planning. Consultation with teachers regarding classroom behavior management, instructional modifications, and mental health support strategies represents another significant aspect of your role. Additionally, you'll analyze student data to identify trends and recommend systemic improvements.

Telepsychology Practice
Remote psychological services have become increasingly effective and accepted within school systems. You'll utilize specialized online assessment tools designed for virtual administration, conduct behavioral observations through video platforms, and build rapport with students through consistent digital interaction.
